Wyndham Clark was born in December 1993 in Denver, Colorado. He was raised by his parents, Lisa and Randall Clark. His dad was a professional tennis player. In 2011, Clark was named player of the year after he won the Colorado state golf championship twice. The following year, he played at the U. S. Amateur and finished in a tie for 9th place. Later, he competed in the Pac-12 conference and won the championship.

Clark earned a PGA Tour card for the 2018 season after finishing 23rd place at Web.com Tour qualifying. At the end of the season, he finished in 16th place on the tour money list.
