Hatton recorded his first professional victory at Woodcote Park Golf Cub. Then, he got his second professional victory at Caversham Heath. In the same season, he recorded a win at the Your Golf Travel Classic.

Hatton mainly appeared on the Challenge Tour for two years in 2012 and 2013. He showed his exceptional game at The Foshan Open, and the Kazakhstan in 2013. That same year, he competed on the 2013 Challenge Tour and finished 10th. Subsequently, after that, he qualified for the 2014 European Tour.
