Marjorie Taylor Greene was born in May 1974 in Georgia. She was born to Robert Taylor, a founder of Taylor Commercial. Her father sold the general contracting company to Marjorie and her hubby, Perry in 2002.
Regarding her education, she completed her high school graduation from South Forsyth High School in 1992. Then, she received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia in 1996.

Greene became the chief financial officer of Taylor Commercial in 2007. After serving as CFO for four years, she resigned in 2011. Then, she provided part-time gym coaching at an Alpharetta CrossFit gym in 2012. The following year, she teamed up with a CrossFit athlete, Travis Mayer, and co-founded CrossFit Passion, a CrossFit gym.
Green left the business in early 2017. That same year, she was a correspondent for a conspiracy news website, American Truth Seekers. While working there, she wrote 59 articles. Then, she worked for a news website, Law Enforcement Today, and wrote 27 articles.
In 2017, Marjorie visited Washington D. C. where she strongly protested against a Republican gun control compromise. In January 2018, she was a part of a conservative group, the Family America Project. Greene began her political career with a plan to run in Georgia’s 7th congressional district.
However, she instead ran for the campaign in the 6th district. In December 2019, she announced to shift her campaign to the 14th district. She shifted the campaign after incumbent Tom Graves announced that he has opted out from the reelection.
Greene generated $450,000 for her campaign from her company, Taylor Commercial. She eventually won the August 11 runoff. After that, Donald Trump came in her support and mentioned Greene as a future Republican star. She was expected to be facing Democratic IT specialist, Kevin Van Ausdal on September 11 election.
Greene eventually won the general election after Ausdal withdrew from the election. In May 2022, she ran in the Republican primary election against Jennifer Strahan. She eventually won the Republican primary. In November 2022, she was reelected after she defeated the Democratic nominee, Marcus Flowers, receiving 65.9% of the vote.
On Saturday, November 4, Representative, Greene pledged to reintroduce a measure to censure Democratic representative, Rashida Tlaib after she released a video saying President Biden supports the genocide of the Palestinian people. Greene’s pledge especially included comments Tlaib made calling for peaceful coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians.
Along with that, Greene also called out the 23 Republicans who supported Rashida Tlaib in the first censure vote. She even called Tlaib a terrorist and expressed that Tlaib should be expelled. The democratic representative, Tlaib has been continuously going against President Biden for backing Israel in its conflict against Hamas.
Personal Life
Marjorie Taylor Greene was married to Perry Greene. She exchanged wedding vows with Perry in 1995 while studying in college. Together, the pair shares three kids. In September 2022, her husband, Perry announced that their marriage had irretrievably broken, and subsequently, he filed for divorce. Their divorce was officially finalized in December 2022.
Greene started dating Brian Glenn in 2023. Glenn serves as the director of programming at the conservative media company, Right Side Broadcasting Network. The Republican representative’s Twitter account has been suspended multiple times for violating Twitter’s policies. In 2021, her Twitter account was permanently suspended for rolling out COVID-19 vaccine misinformation.
