Lauren Boebert was born in December 1986 in Florida. When she was a kid, she, along with her family, relocated to different places before settling in Colorado in 2003. Lauren grew up in a Democratic household. According to Boebert, while growing up, her family depended mainly on welfare.
Regarding her education, she dropped out of high school in 2004. She had to opt out of her senior year as she had given birth to her baby. Though, in 2020, she received a GED certificate. When she was 19, she registered herself to vote as a Democrat, which she later changed to Republican in 2008.

Lauren Boebert started working as an assistant manager at McDonald’s after leaving high school. Then, in 2007, she was hired at a natural gas drilling company. Subsequently, she worked as a pipeliner, responsible for building and maintaining pipelines and pumping stations.
Boebert and her husband started a restaurant named, Shooters Grill in Rifle in 2013. The pair also opened a restaurant, Smokehouse 1776 across the sheet. Then, in 2015, she started a putters restaurant, which she ran for nearly a year, and sold in December 2016.
Lauren came to limelight in September 2019 after confronting a candidate in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary election. She confronted a Democratic candidate, Beto O’Rourke at an Aurora town meeting. Soon after a month, she was seen opposing a measure banning gunshots at an Aspen City Council meeting. Subsequently, the ordinance was passed unanimously after a month.
Boebert started the campaign in December 2019 to represent Colorado’s 3rd congressional district in the U. S. House of Representatives. She criticized politician, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez during the campaign. Lauren raised more than $150 thousand through the June 30 primary.
Lauren became victorious on the June 30 Republican nomination. She got the victory over Tipton, receiving 54.6% of the votes. With the victory, she became the first primary challenger to win over a sitting U. S. representative in the long period of 48 years in Colorado. Thereafter, she faced Democratic former state representative, Diane Mitsch Bush in the November general election.
Boebert won the general election over Mitsch Bush, receiving 51.27% votes. For the election, she raised $2.4 million. Along with that, the Republicans spent over $5 million supporting her in the election. In 2022, she sought a second term representing the 3rd congressional district of Colorado in the 2022 election.
In November 2023, the Republican representative was accused of vaping, and singing loud, “causing a disturbance” during the Sunday night performance of the Beetlejuice musical, which was held in downtown Denver. After the unwanted disturbance, the venue officials asked two patrons to leave the theatre during the performance. Even though Boebert’s name was not mentioned as one of the patrons, her campaign office confirmed that Boebert was escorted from the theatre hall during the Beetlejuice show.
However, the U. S. representative denied vaping during the show. She confirmed that she had taken a picture of the performance from her cellphone, mentioning that she was not aware that the pictures were not allowed. All this unwanted attention might affect the 2024 election as she would be running for a third time to represent the 3rd Congressional District.

Lauren Boebert was married to Jayson Boebert, with whom she has four sons and a grandson. Her husband was arrested on a physical assault charge and was convicted in November 2004. Boebert filed for divorce in early 2023 ending her 18 years of marriage life.
Lauren’s ex-husband, Jayson accepted being the root cause of the split as he focused more on caring for his children. Following separation, Boebert was allegedly dating bartender, Quinn Gallagher. Lauren also fell into controversy after she and her new boyfriend were thrown out of the Denver theatre on September 16 for showing unusual behavior in the orchestra seats. On the theatre date, Gallagher was seen fondling her breasts while she was seen rubbing his crotch.
