J.T. Postonsecured his place for the United Leasing Championship after playing with no status on any golf event in 2016. He eventually finished T23 in the United Leasing Championship. Following that, he was selected to play in the Rex Hospital Open. At the golf event, he tied for third and earned Special Temporary status for the rest of the season.
