Early Life

Hotboii was born Javarri Latre Walker in June 2000 in Orlando, Florida. He grew up with 17 siblings on the west side of Orlando. Hotboii was seven when he started rapping. His mother has always shown support towards his music career. She helped him release his music in 2016.

Hotboii initially uploaded songs on streaming platforms, SoundCloud and YouTube. He developed his songwriting skills while staying in the juvenile detention center. Hotboii was sent to a detention center for breaking. He served 2 years in a detention program and was released in 2018.

Hotboii had released the song, Switcharoo before he was sent to the detention center. He received some attention for his song, Switcharoo. In 2018, he published his first music video titled Life of a Dog. After a year, he dropped his new track, YG’s. Through the song, he shared his survival experiences in the street.

Hotboii quickly gained traction after the song was released. In 2020, he featured on rapper, Stunna 4 Vegas’ song, 4PF Like Baby. Soon after, he released his breakout song, Don’t Need Time. He wrote the song in memory of his dead friend, Woph. Later, he came up with the remix version of the song featuring famous rapper, Lil Baby.

Along with the song, he dropped a music video addressing the police brutality when his friend was killed by a County sheriff’s deputy. The song was later certified Gold by the RIAA in April 2021. Hotboii came up with his debut mixtape titled Kut Da Fan On in May 2020. He included his previous hit songs, Don’t Need Time, Goat Talk, and YG’s in EP.

In December 2021, he was signed to record label, Jay Rebel’s Rebel Music. Under the record label, he dropped his first studio album titled Double O Baby. He chose to include his previous album’s theme, Police brutality and other social issues in the album focusing mainly African-American community.

Hotboii continued to deliver more songs and came up with his third album, Blinded By Death in July 2022. The album features popular rappers, Big30, Lil Uzi Vert, and Kodak Black. It eventually became a big hit and also peaked at 89 spots on the Billboard 200. Not only that, the album became his first project to be featured on mainstream music charts.

Unfortunately, he was again incarcerated for some undisclosed legal circumstances. He made a comeback in October 2023 with his new song, N.A.S.A. The music producer, ATL Jacob also featured on the song.

Personal Life

Hotboii has not shared much about his love affair. In February 2023, an Instagram handle, @floridabasedtv disclosed his girlfriend sharing a picture on Instagram. It was written in the caption, HotBoii gets his girlfriend her shop for Valentine’s.

According to an Instagram handle, floridabasedtv, he is dating an Instagram user, @darealquisha. She has stated her name, Queen Qui on Instagram. Through digging information from Queen’s Instagram account, we got to know that she is an entrepreneur. Furthermore, Queen is an alum of Florida A&M University.

Hotboii is parenting a son, however, he has not identified who is the mother of his son  In July 2021, he was arrested on charges of racketeering, and for getting involved in conspiracy of racketeering. The rapper was later booked into the Orange County Jail. He tried to get bail, but it was revoked by a judge.
