Early Life
Gizelle Bryant was born in September 1970 in Texas. She was raised by her parents, Curtis and Joanne Graves. Her father, Curtis Graves is a civil rights activist and a former politician. The president of the National Urban League, Marc Morial is her second cousin. Similarly, the former CNN correspondent, Suzanne Malveaux is also her cousin. Regarding her education, she studied at Hampton University and completed her education degree in marketing in 1992.

Gizelle Bryant came into the limelight after she appeared as a leading cast member on Bravo’s popular reality series, The Real Housewives of Potomac. The first season of the reality series premiered on January 17, 2016. Gizelle has been a part of the reality series since its inception. She is also a part of its eighth season, which will begin premiering on November 5, 2023.
In 2020, she appeared as a co-host of Bravo’s Chat Room. She co-hosted the show along with reality series, Porsha Williams. In May 2021, she appeared in a podcast titled Reasonably Shady along with Robyn Dixon. The podcast featured stories about Bryant and Dixon their lives, and how they tackled their struggles. The couple instead alleged Gizelle for diverting attention from the drama of what had happened at Robyn’s house unfolding behind closed doors.

Gizelle Bryant was married to Jamal Harrison Bryant, an activist and megachurch pastor. Together, they share three daughters. Gizele filed for divorce in 2008, where she accused Jamal of adultery. The pair eventually divorced in 2009. Gizelle is currently dating fellow Bravo co-star of Winter House, Jason Cameron.
