Early Life

Elliott Grainge was born in November 1993 in the United Kingdom. He was raised by his parents, Samantha Berg, and Lucian Grainge. His dad works as the CEO of Universal Music Group. Elliot was 16 when he moved to the U. S. Elliot’s early childhood was shadowed by tragedy as he lost his mom in 2007. At the time when her mom was giving birth to him, she entered into a coma after suffering an amniotic fluid embolism.

He has signed many known musicians under his record label, including Trippie Redd, Iann Dior, and Tekashi 6ix9ine. Grainge also reached out to SoundCloud to sign some of the artists under his label. He often called SoundCloud, a cheat sheet for searching for new talent.

When new artists are signed to his record label, they are distributed by Universal Music Group’s label, Caroline Records. In October 2019, Grainge cracked a new joint venture deal with Taz Taylor to work with his creative collective, Internet Money Records. Soon, the duo formed a charitable division of 10K Projects and named it 10K Together. The charitable division focused mainly on donating to black-owned businesses and racial justice charities.

Elliot Grainge is married to model and social media personality, Sofia Richie. The pair exchanged wedding vows on April 22, 2023, in France. Elliot and Sofia knew each other for many years before they started dating. Sofia has always expressed her love for Grainge, and also described him as the man of her dreams.

Sofia and Elliot are expecting their first child in January 2024. On January 28, 2024, Sofia Richie revealed the gender of her baby.
